About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher Manager to join our team at Graham Eyes High Class Butchers. As a key member of our SPAR store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the butchery department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers, providing expert advice and guidance on our high-quality meat products.
• Manage stock levels, including ordering and stock taking, to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Develop and lead a small team of butchers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain company standards in window display and upright counter display, showcasing our products in an appealing and attractive manner.
• Manage staff rotas and control waste to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

Requirements

• Managerial or supervisory experience in a butchery environment is essential.
• Enthusiasm, commitment, and self-motivation are key qualities we look for in our team members.
• A 'can-do' attitude and flexibility in working hours are also essential.
• Thorough knowledge of HACCPS and proven experience in a butchery environment are required.
