About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher Manager to join our team at Graham Eyes High Class Butchers. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading our butchery department and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice and guidance on our meat products
  • Manage and maintain stock levels, including ordering and stock taking
  • Develop and lead a small team of butchers, providing training and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Maintain company standards in window display and upright counter display
  • Manage staff rotas and control waste

Requirements

  • Managerial or supervisory experience in a butchery or retail environment
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and self-motivation
  • Ability to adopt a 'can do' attitude in challenging situations
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCPS
  • Proven experience in a butchery environment
