About the Role

As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will be responsible for overseeing the store's operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. You will work closely with the store team to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a clean and well-stocked store, and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers
* Support colleagues in their daily tasks, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to succeed
* Open and close the store, ensuring all decisions made are right for everyone's safety
* Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager for day-to-day queries
* Maintain a great understanding of how the store is performing, and assist managers in delivering any actions that help improve the running of the store

* A competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on performance and location
* A guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with opportunities to work more hours if desired
