About the Role
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of hundreds of people every day. You will be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You will also play an active role in our charities support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply prescriptions and deliver NHS and Private services to customers.
- Provide healthcare advice to customers and support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries.
- Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
Requirements
- You will have a Pharmacy Degree and be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- You will be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and complete a DBS check before employment.
