Educational Therapist

WhereToTalk is a leading provider of school counselling services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Educational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a professionally accredited Diploma in Counselling, be registered with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), and possess significant experience in providing counselling services in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one counselling provision for children and young people, as well as those with learning difficulties;
- Provide a range of therapies, including Art, Play, and Talking;
- Work effectively with referral sources and other relevant professionals to co-ordinate effective counselling provision;
- Deliver group work to promote emotional health resilience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- Professionally accredited Diploma in Counselling;
- Registration with BACP and UKCP;
- At least 5 years of experience in school counselling;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
