Job Title: Clinical Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Asthma and Chronic Airways Diseases

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Senior Lecturer to join our team at Imperial College London. As a Clinical Senior Lecturer, you will play a key role in developing a research programme aligned with one or more areas of focus of the Paediatric Severe Asthma research group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a research programme within the National Heart and Lung Institute
  • Foster national and international scientific collaborations with other world-leading centres
  • Teach and supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, Masters and High research degrees
  • Provide consultant level care as part of a wide group of paediatric respiratory clinicians and clinical academics
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with regard to individual performance, academic & clinical teams, the NHLI, Faculty, College, clinical teams, the NHS Trust and when participating in national/international initiatives
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree and CCT (or equivalent) in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine
  • Further Higher Degree, PhD or equivalent
  • Track record of research in childhood asthma or chronic airways diseases
  • Experience in design and leadership of research programs, published papers and presenting research
  • Experience of Training Undergraduate, Postgraduate and higher degree students
  • Be able to make a significant contribution to the research, management and leadership of the department
