We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team at NFP, an Aon company (Europe). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of strategic and tactical enhancements of the Group Compliance function.
Key Responsibilities- Representing the Compliance Division: Provide expert advice on regulations and compliance issues to the business, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of and compliant with relevant rules and regulations.
- Supporting Training and Competence: Assist with the implementation, monitoring, and administration of our training and competence scheme, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Research and Diligence: Conduct thorough research and diligence as required by the team, staying up-to-date with current compliance requirements in the financial services sector.
- Complaint Resolution: Support in resolving and responding to complaints, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders across all business lines, including development of knowledge of their business aims, strategies, and problems.
- General Support: Provide general support and administration duties for the Compliance division, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in compliance roles or similar within the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of FCA regulations.
- Integrity and Ethics: High degree of integrity with high ethical standards, ensuring that all actions and decisions are aligned with the company's values and principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based in Bromsgrove, with the option to work from home on a hybrid basis.
