Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Director

Job Summary:

LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Pharmacy Director to lead our Pharmacy Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving compliance, innovation, and high standards in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Governance: Lead compliance with legislation and standards, ensuring patient safety and legal adherence.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, driving high standards in Pharmacy Services.
  • Oncology Focus: Develop and implement plans for oncology medication services, ensuring best practices and compliance.
  • Education and Development: Create a robust learning framework for all pharmacists, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Leadership: Cultivate a high-performing team, maximising potential and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain key relationships internally and externally to enhance integrated patient care.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Qualifications & Registration: Must be a registered and qualified Pharmacist as recognized by the GPhC.
  • Experience: Significant experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management, and specialist therapy areas.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing UK pharmacy practice.
  • Business Acumen: Commercially astute with strong analytical and operational planning skills.
  • Project Management: Highly organized with a track record of driving innovation and improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a keen eye for detail to ensure safety and accuracy.
  • Ethical Conduct: Uphold professional ethics and patient confidentiality.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Commitment to ongoing learning and maintaining up-to-date pharmacy practice knowledge.
