Job Summary:

Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our hospital in Essex. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy department and other areas of the hospital in managing medicines and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering pharmaceutical care to meet patients' health and wellbeing needs
  • Assist in assessing people's health and wellbeing within the context of their medicines
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of medicines and stock
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency and quality care
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • B. Tech National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in a pharmaceutical department, preferably in an independent sector hospital
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive team culture
