About the Role

The Banqueting Sous Chef will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. This includes monitoring food preparation and portion sizes, managing inventory, and ensuring that all dishes meet the hotel's standards for taste, quality, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Monitor food preparation and portion sizes, ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes and hotel standards.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, checking deliveries, and ensuring proper storage.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure that ingredients are fresh and available as needed.
  • Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the hotel's standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
