Brook Street Social Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join their team and new residential children's home in Birkenhead.

The Role:

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the children's home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and leading a team of staff to provide excellent care.

You will prioritise and monitor the work of the team, identifying areas for improvement and development, and ensure that these are addressed through team and personal development plans.

Responsibilities include responding to internal and external inspections, audits, complaints, and investigations, as well as overseeing the recruitment, induction, and development of staff.

You will take responsibility for your own professional development, participate in supervisions, appraisals, and training events, and contribute to the ongoing success of the children's home.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working within the children's residential sector
  • Relevant experience working within a successful Ofsted-registered children's home
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable, solution-focused, and supportive
  • Holding a Level 3 or 4 NVQ/Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce

  • A competitive salary starting from £50,000 per annum up to £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications
