Job Summary:
Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of NHS Community Health Lead. As a key member of our Adult Community Health Team in West Bournemouth, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.
About the Role:
We are looking for someone with recent experience within a community CMHT role at band 6 or demonstrate transferable experience. You should be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge in clinical assessment, treatment, and care for people's mental health. Additionally, you should have demonstrable knowledge of legislation relevant to your area of practice and evidence of risk management skills and experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Advance Clinical Practitioner to deliver an effective mental health service.
- Benefit from support from your Integrated Service Manager and support from an effective and experienced peer network, at both a local and county-wide level.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of agencies, such as the Local Authority, Primary Care colleagues, and third sector (VCSE) providers.
- Manage change and prioritize effectively while working under pressure and managing a caseload.

A competitive salary of £45,753 - £54,109 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of highly developed specialist knowledge and experience.
- Registered Practitioner (Nursing, Allied Health Profession, Social Work).
- Experience of teaching and assessing in clinical practice.
- Non-medical prescriber.
