Support Assistant Opportunity in Alternative Education

We are looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our team in an alternative education provision in Durham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people who require extra support to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
  • Help students overcome barriers to learning
  • Work in a nurturing, flexible environment with a well-established supportive workforce
  • Work hours: 9:00 am- 2:30 pm

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting young people (desirable)
  • Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
  • Sense of humour and a resilient nature
