Role Overview:
Vision for Education, a market-leading education supply agency, is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our National Teaching Assistant Programme in Newcastle. This programme offers a rewarding opportunity to work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and develop your skills as a teaching assistant.

About the Programme:
Upon completion of the programme, you will be placed within a SEND setting, where you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils, their families, and colleagues, and contribute to the development of engaging lesson plans and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a National Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to pupils with SEN, assisting with lessons, and participating in school events. You will also have opportunities to attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEN. You should be flexible, proactive, and able to work well in a team. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to participate in DBS checks are also essential.
