Your primary focus will be on prototyping, documenting, and developing key gameplay systems and content from an initial concept to final delivery. You will work closely with our design team to specify features, systems, and content needed to deliver the game vision and improve it.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of gameplay mechanics, from character and camera systems to level design and narrative implementation. You will also be responsible for documenting and communicating your findings and feature goals to cross-discipline feature teams.

We are looking for a talented and experienced game designer who is passionate about creating engaging and immersive gameplay experiences. If you have a strong background in game design, a deep understanding of Unreal 5, and excellent communication and organizational skills, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Work with the design team to specify features, systems, and content needed to deliver the game vision and improve it.
* Prototype using Blueprint, Sequencer, Animation Blueprints, and other Unreal tools.
* Design and iterate on prototypes to develop features and ensure they match the creative vision.
* Document and communicate prototype findings and feature goals to cross-discipline feature teams.
* Work with a feature from concept to completion, then through iteration and tuning.

**Requirements:**

* Ability to accurately deliver high-quality work that fits the direction and vision for the game.
* Deep knowledge of Unreal 5, including Blueprint and Sequencer.
* Professional game development experience in gameplay design.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* A creative but pragmatic approach to solving problems and improving quality.
* Able to take direction and critique with a mind to improving quality.
* Dedication to delivering the very best player experience.
* A background that demonstrates technical and communication skills.
* Pro-actively identify and raise upcoming issues.
* Working knowledge of Agile development.

**Nice to Have:**

* Good knowledge of industry-standard packages (MS Office, Jira, Perforce, etc.).
* Knowledge of Animation Blueprints.
* Experience with cameras, characters, and controls.
* A passion for cinematic gameplay.
* Experience of at least 1 product cycle - Conception to Completion and Launch.
