Job summary
As a Reliability Engineer at GKN Aerospace, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to delivering exceptional results. You'll work closely with our engineers, maintenance technicians, and other experts to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and maintain high levels of productivity.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability strategies to minimize equipment downtime and maximize overall equipment effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify and address issues that impact productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. You'll also need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
