About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations at Murrayfield Stadium. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining high standards of product quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
    • Monitor and improve service quality, creating a pleasant customer experience.
    • Manage bar setup, service, and closing procedures during events.
  • Staff Management:
    • Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to maintain high service standards.
    • Ensure adequate staff coverage for all shifts and events.
    • Address performance issues and maintain a positive team environment.
  • Drink Quality & Safety:
    • Ensure all drinks meet high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
    • Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure proper drink handling and storage.
    • Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
    • Foster an inviting atmosphere that promotes customer retention.
  • Inventory & Stock Maintenance:
    • Maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
    • Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of beverages and supplies.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to alcohol licensing laws, including age verification and responsible alcohol service.
    • Maintain cleanliness, food and drink preparation standards, and workplace safety.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in bar management or hospitality operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of alcohol licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A valid Personal License is mandatory for this role.
