Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and well-being needs, and develop effective care plans to meet their individual requirements.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered and that staff are supported and developed.
  • Human Resources: Undertake HR activities, including recruitment, training, and performance management, to ensure that the team is equipped to deliver excellent care.
  • Service Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve services, policies, and procedures, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Culture and Safety: Foster a culture that prioritizes patient safety and well-being, and ensures that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Children's Nurse with no restrictions on NMC pin.
  • Experience: At least 3 years' experience working in a similar setting, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Skills: EPALS/PALS, Child Protection Level 3, and experience working in outpatients and pre-assessment.
