This is where you come in... We're starting our journey to optimize the use of Power Platforms and are looking for someone to drive development projects forward. You'll make key contributions to the team and firm's strategies, becoming the trusted adviser on all things Power Platform. Working closely with the Innovation Lead, Application Manager, Lead Application Development Analyst, Innovation Champions, and wider IT team, you'll identify solutions, assess viability, and present ideas to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new applications, automation, and use of the Power Platform, providing technical input at feasibility, design, and development stages.
  • Maintain existing applications and produce enhancements as required.
  • Analyze requirements and agree specifications with the Lead Application Development Analyst.
  • Configure, optimize, and progress software to meet specifications.
  • Design test cases, execute tests, and report results.
  • Provide 3rd-level support for in-house-developed applications and related purchased software, liaising with third-party suppliers as needed.
  • Liaise with client departments and IT trainers to ensure client training needs are met, assist in developing training courses, and provide 'train the trainer' courses.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of M365 Architectural design and development platforms.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for code management and user story management.
  • Highly skilled and experienced on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience utilizing Dataverse and Microsoft SQL Server as data repositories.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Technologies, including SharePoint Framework Client Web Parts.
  • Fully understand OWASP secure development principles and can demonstrate their application in solution delivery.
  • Operate with a client-focused mindset, including external clients or suppliers and internal colleagues.
  • Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies.
  • Demonstrate personal responsibility for seeing events through to a satisfactory conclusion and possess an openness to support colleagues by sharing knowledge and resources.
