Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Design Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Power Systems Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of power systems for state-of-the-art submarine projects.


The successful candidate will provide support to the Engineering Manager and/or external specialists during development and analysis of platform power systems. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the competency and skills of the team, project planning and schedule management, and resolving related issues.


Typical Duties Include:



  • Developing design solutions to agreed time, cost, and quality in accordance with project or business milestones.
  • Understanding contractual and performance requirements for various systems and supporting the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensuring compliance against contractual requirements and undertaking work in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual, and local business processes, standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Providing technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities, including acceptance of equipment from suppliers through to system acceptance by the customer.
  • Supporting the development of estimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliver it in order to support bids, proposal development, and project planning activities for various systems.

Salary:


£79.17 per hour (Inside IR35)


Location: Remote, flexible working arrangements available. 2 days per fortnight on site required.
