About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Technical Advisor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Power Networks team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative projects that drive the transition to a net zero carbon future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical advice and guidance to clients across the energy sector, leveraging your expertise in power systems and transmission and distribution networks.
  • Lead on projects from conception to completion, working closely with subject matter experts and engineers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide commercial, technical, and regulatory advice to clients, summarizing complex analysis and assessments into concise reports and presentations.
  • Oversee the work of engineers and graduate engineers, reviewing their work and providing guidance to ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards, as well as regulatory and financial incentives for transmission and distribution network investment in GB.
  • Strong understanding and leadership of engineering projects through asset lifecycles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
