About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Power Systems department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing power systems solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement power systems designs for new connections and upgrades, including feasibility studies, concept design, and technical analysis.
  • Work with our team to deliver high-level equipment sizing, single line diagrams, and spatial designs of new substations across voltage levels.
  • Provide technical expertise and input on various stages of our client's projects, including feasibility, concept, design, and specification.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop connection strategies and perform grid impact assessments for new projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in energy network regulations and business plans, and provide expert advice on future loads and feasibility of proposed solutions.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Engineer who has a strong background in designing and implementing power systems solutions. You should have a working knowledge of grid code compliance requirements and experience working with transmission, distribution, or consulting in infrastructure planning of project-level, local, and regional power systems schemes.

You should also have experience working on grid impact assessments for new projects, including connections of renewable, heat pumps, and/or new technologies. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of energy network regulations and be able to provide expert advice on future loads and feasibility of proposed solutions.
