Strategic Sourcing Lead

As a Strategic Sourcing Lead, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business requirements.
  • Facilitate make vs buy decisions and evaluate the global market environment.
  • Manage commodity strategic plans and identify, select, and develop strategic supplier partnerships.
  • Develop supply channels to reduce lead time, increase quality and delivery, and lower total costs.
  • Manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business.
  • Progressive experience in managing programs or complex contracts.
  • Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Program Management is desirable.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving, continuous improvement, and lean principles.
  • Good negotiating skills and understanding of procurement and contractual law.
  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and formal presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
