  • Represent the firm in senior client and stakeholder meetings, offering strategic guidance.
  1. Project Oversight & Delivery:
  • Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring high-quality design, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Review and approve key design documentation, technical specifications, and construction details.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and foster strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Lead or support the preparation of bids, proposals, and tenders for new projects.
  • Actively participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to enhance the firm's profile.
  1. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure all projects adhere to UK building regulations, planning laws, and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality assurance procedures across all stages of project delivery.
  • Stay updated with trends, technology, and best practices within the architecture and construction sectors.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on architectural and construction matters.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in architecture, including significant experience in a leadership or senior management role within a consultancy or design practice.
  • Qualifications: Chartered Architect status (RIBA or equivalent) with a degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of UK planning regulations, building codes, and sustainability practices. Proficiency in BIM and other architectural software.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, with experience in business development, client management, and project financials.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
