We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and solutions engineering team, you will be responsible for the successful development and execution of our technical solutions program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Solutions Program Management: Develop and execute a technical solutions program that meets the needs of our hyperscale cloud and AI customers.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with our sales team to provide technical support and guidance on project development, contract negotiation, and client technical conversations.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients, driving and managing client requirements and ensuring alignment with company business objectives.
  • RFP Process: Participate in the RFP process with our customers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Business Case Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business case analysis and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Build Schedule Management: Maintain a current understanding of the build schedule of all developments across EMEA, collaborating with the New Site Development Department and Delivery Team.
  • Solutions Engineering: Demonstrate a proactive approach to solutions engineering, building and growing the role to meet the needs of VDC and its customers.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver technical proposals, design architectural overviews, and assist with customer site visits.
  • Opportunity Development: Drive opportunities by supporting sales teams in designing, positioning, and proving technology solutions.
  • Product Feature Discussions: Articulate and conduct in-depth product feature benefit discussions as they relate to Vantage data center offerings.
  • Customer Acceptance: Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
  • Network and Space Assessment: Engage in detailed network, power, cooling, and space assessment of customer's current and proposed IT environments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Significant experience in data center infrastructure solution sales, marketing, and management.
  • Skills: Excellent organization skills, positive attitude, ability to work in a dynamic environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, orientation to detail, and ability to see the big picture.
  • Personal Qualities: Inquisitive mindset, ability to build and maintain relationships effectively, drive for continuous improvement, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
