We are seeking a Loyalty Program Technical Manager to join a prominent retail organization that is embarking on a significant transformation initiative aimed at enhancing their engineering capabilities internally.

In this role, you will serve as the Technical Lead for the Loyalty Program, balancing both hands-on technical responsibilities and strategic oversight. You will be instrumental in shaping the technological direction of the loyalty program, collaborating closely with both product and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that elevate customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Oversee the technological framework and vision for the loyalty program, ensuring it meets business objectives.
  • Manage project budgets and collaborate with architects to design scalable solutions.
  • Facilitate backlog management, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure effective team collaboration.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the retail sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between product and engineering teams.
  • Experience in loyalty program development and transformation, including pricing strategies, promotional schemes, applications, and card systems.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as SAP Hybris and Commerce Cloud.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product, Development, and Testing teams to implement new in-store solutions.
  • Technical proficiency in Java and React.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms.
