About the Role

Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our EMEA Multi-Asset team as an Associate Portfolio Analyst. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, management, and communication of multi-asset solutions across both public and private markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team of experienced portfolio managers in covering a range of different projects across various asset classes.
  • Assist with reviewing specialist portfolio managers across equities, credit, and alternatives that are underlying components of our multi-asset strategies.
  • Research and identify fundamental, valuation, or behavioral signals that can form inputs to our tactical asset allocation process.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of capital markets assumptions and the characteristics and return drivers across various public and private assets.

Requirements

  • CFA designation or equivalent experience.
  • Strong data analysis and quantitative skills to collate and manipulate data to form clear insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Aptitude with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn specialized investment systems.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg functionality, including Excel API, and experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Interest in programming languages and willingness to learn.
