Building Care Support Specialist

About the Role
OCS Group is a leading provider of integrated facilities management services. We are currently seeking a skilled Building Care Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide caretaking and minor maintenance services to ensure our buildings remain safe and well-maintained.
You will work as part of a team to support the upkeep of premises and grounds, including cleaning designated areas, removing graffiti, and replenishing consumables. A key aspect of the role is monitoring energy usage and supplying meter readings.
This position offers a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours will be Monday to Friday between 06:30 to 22:00, with 37.5 hours per week.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide caretaking and minor maintenance services
- Support energy conservation initiatives
- Monitor energy usage and supply meter readings
- Check fire system operation and perform fire door checks
- Record and report repairs requirements
- Undertake minor maintenance tasks and move furniture/equipment
Requirements
- Able to undertake basic maintenance tasks
- Previous experience in a similar role an advantage, but training provided where necessary
