About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caring Support Specialist to join our team. As an Independence Champion, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals within their own homes on a short-term basis to regain independence, increase confidence, and learn new skills in all aspects of personal care and daily living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting independence, and encouraging confidence-building activities
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care services
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development
Requirements
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle for home visits
  • Experience working in a care setting and/or NVQ Level 2 in Adult Social Care or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and a passion for supporting others

The salary grade on appointment will be determined by qualifications and experience. The actual salary for this post is £18,562 - £20,495 per annum (pro rata for part-time posts).
