Job Title: Head of Adult Social Care and Homelessness

At Good Moves, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Adult Social Care and Homelessness. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our efforts in developing and implementing effective strategies to address adult social care and homelessness in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to our team, ensuring that our programs and services are delivered with excellence and impact.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to address adult social care and homelessness, working closely with stakeholders and partners to ensure effective collaboration and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and service providers, to ensure that our efforts are aligned with broader community goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to adult social care and homelessness, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with best practices.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that our programs and services are delivered within budget and with maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement evaluation and monitoring systems to assess the effectiveness of our programs and services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in adult social care and homelessness, with a proven track record of leadership and program development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
