Software Engineering Manager

Head Resourcing is seeking a talented Engineering Manager to join an Edinburgh-based digital technology company. The company has developed a next-generation enterprise CMS that simplifies and automates complex configuration processes, enabling rapid and secure website creation, versioning, and editing.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a software engineering professional to progress into a management role and shape the engineering function moving forward. The successful candidate will be expected to stay close to the day-to-day operations and offer exceptional coaching and mentoring to the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development teams and ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement Agile Development methodologies and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering practices
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve technical skills
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management skills
