Engineering Manager Opportunity

Head Resourcing is partnering with a leading digital technology company in Edinburgh to find a talented Engineering Manager to join their team. The company has developed a next-generation enterprise CMS that simplifies and automates complex configuration processes, enabling rapid and secure website creation, versioning, and editing.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong technical background and leadership skills to help shape the engineering function and ensure the continual upskilling and development of the teams. The successful candidate will be expected to stay close to the day-to-day operations and offer exceptional coaching and mentoring to the teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage software development teams to deliver successful projects
  • Develop and implement Agile Development methodologies and tools across the full lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience managing software developers
  • Experience in software engineering with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth experience of Agile Development methodologies and tools
  • Advanced skills in front-end technologies including React, Angular, and Microsoft.Net
