As a dynamic and enthusiastic Academic Academy Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students at The CatchUp Academy. With a strong background in English, Maths, and Science, you will be able to inspire and support students in achieving their academic goals.

Your role will involve working closely with class teachers to design and implement individualized lesson plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will be able to deliver engaging lessons, either online or in-person, and provide personalized teaching to help students excel in core subjects.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced tutor who is passionate about teaching and committed to helping students succeed. If you have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and excellent subject knowledge, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons: Inspire and support students to achieve their academic goals.
  • Personalized teaching: Assess each student's abilities and adapt your teaching methods to meet their needs.
  • Collaborative planning: Work closely with class teachers to design and implement individualized lesson plans.
  • Commitment: Be dedicated and flexible with your hours to meet the needs of the students.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: A qualified teacher (QTS), experienced tutor, or school support worker with relevant qualifications and at least 6 months of experience.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and excellent subject knowledge.
  • Classroom Management: Confident in managing classroom behaviour and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using IT systems for online tutoring sessions.
