Job Title: Apprenticeship Liaison Officer - Temporary Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeship Liaison Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. As an Apprenticeship Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of apprenticeship reviews for Carpentry & Joinery and Multi-Trade apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough apprenticeship reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with training staff, assessors, and employers to gather feedback and ensure apprentices meet key milestones.
  • Maintain accurate records of reviews and assessments in line with college policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback to apprentices to support their development and progress.
  • Liaise with employers to ensure apprentices are progressing as per agreed training plans and objectives.
  • Report any concerns regarding apprentice progress or performance to the appropriate department heads.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in conducting apprenticeship reviews, particularly in Carpentry & Joinery or Multi-Trade sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with apprentices, staff, and employers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reviews and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relevant compliance and regulatory frameworks for apprenticeships.
  • IT literacy, with experience in using apprenticeship tracking software and databases.
