Nursery Nurse Specialist

Main Responsibilities- To establish a nurturing environment that promotes the well-being, safety, and inclusivity of all children.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols and whistleblowing guidelines.
- Take responsibility for the welfare of all children in the nursery, implementing systems to guarantee consistent, high-quality care.
- Vigilantly protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately in accordance with safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
- Cultivate a personalized approach to meet the unique needs of each child throughout the day.
- Contribute to planning and provision of engaging, age-appropriate activities, ensuring the nursery remains well-resourced and creatively set up.
- Lead observations and assessments of children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records and sharing them effectively, including Individual Education Plans for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, encouraging trust, open communication, and involvement in nursery life.
- Adhere to risk assessment requirements as identified.
