Merlin Entertainments - Corporate is seeking an experienced Office Administrator and Support Specialist to join our Finance Hub team on a permanent basis. This role will be based at our office in Basingstoke, requiring 5 days of in-office work per week.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual who can provide comprehensive administrative support to the Global Finance Hub Director and Group Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office facilities, managing office supplies, welcoming visitors, and coordinating meetings and events.

Responsibilities
  • Be the go-to person for all office maintenance and facility issues, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Oversee office supplies and ensure our workspace is fully stocked and efficient.
  • Welcome visitors, manage security passes, and ensure a professional front for the office.
  • Help plan meetings and events while ensuring we're getting the best value for money.
  • Organise unforgettable social events, from summer picnics to charity activities, boosting team spirit and morale for our 140+ person office.
  • Keep our internal SharePoint page up to date and maintain clear, accurate communication for the wider Merlin team.
  • Provide comprehensive diary management and administrative support for both the Global Finance Hub Director and Group Finance Director.
  • Arrange travel, meetings, and events, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Considerable experience of working within a fast-paced office environment as an Administrator/PA or similar role.
  • Experience using office systems such as Coupa and Concur.
  • Intermediate Excel and strong Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong energy and enthusiasm to help create a culture of fun in the office.
  • Capable of building effective working relationships with the teams and PAs across the group.
  • Ability to work 5 days per week in the office to facilitate the day-to-day office running.
