Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Welsh Ambulance Service. As a key member of our crisis care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals who call 999 in crisis.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a Band 6 (or above) nurse or social worker, with a strong background in emergency, unscheduled care, and telephone triage services. You will be required to work independently and autonomously, with excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities will include effectively managing day-to-day operational and professional issues, delivering small-scale improvement projects, and communicating effectively at all levels. You will also be expected to problem-solve under pressure and be flexible in your approach to work.
