Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Maths teacher to join our team at a specialist SEN school in Kidderminster. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching maths to students with complex needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering maths lessons that cater to students' diverse needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Establishing and reviewing individualised learning plans to drive student progress.
  • Providing regular feedback and support to parents and staff.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to inform instruction.
  • Designing engaging maths lessons that promote student engagement and understanding.
  • Contributing to the review of Statements and EHC plans to ensure student needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Hold a PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working in SEN settings or with pupils who have SEMH or ASC needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach GCSE maths to students with varying needs.
  • Postgraduate diploma in SEN an asset.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
