About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maths teacher to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special educational needs in Kidderminster. As a member of our team, you will be part of a supportive community that values collaboration and professional growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating inclusive and challenging maths lessons that cater to students' diverse needs.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of the curriculum.
  • Establishing and reviewing individualised learning plans to drive student progress.
  • Providing regular feedback and support to parents and staff.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to inform instruction.
  • Designing engaging maths lessons that promote student engagement and understanding.
  • Contributing to the review of Statements and EHC plans to ensure student needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Hold a PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working in SEN settings or with pupils who have SEMH or ASC needs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching GCSE maths to students with varying needs.
  • Postgraduate diploma in SEN desirable.

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
