We are seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Duo. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of multiple monthly payrolls for 1500 employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Process monthly payrolls, including starters, leavers, amendments, absence, overtime, statutory payments, and pensions.
- Deal with discrepancies and serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries.
- Support the monthly financial accounting requirements of the business, including report generation, producing weekly/monthly payroll journals, and reconciliations.
- Oversee the running of the Company Pension Schemes.
- Perform general payroll administration duties, including updating payroll records.
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
- Contribute to gender pay gap reporting.
- Daily use of Excel and SAGE systems.
- Significant experience working in a busy Payroll environment is essential.
- Experience in using SAGE is essential.
- Knowledge of NEST pension scheme is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and small team environment.
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Self-sufficiency to work remotely and unsupervised occasionally.
- High standards of work with the ability to spot opportunities for improvement.
This is a part-time position working 25 hours across 3-4 business days. You will be expected to be in the office for your full working week when it's month-end to process payroll and be readily available to support employee queries.
