About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Health Protection Practitioner to join our Public Health team at Northamptonshire Sport. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our approach to health protection and promotion.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health, including experience in health protection and promotion. They will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based projects that improve health outcomes for Northamptonshire residents.

As a Health Protection Practitioner, you will work closely with colleagues from various sectors to ensure effective collaboration and coordination. You will also provide subject matter expertise in response to health emergencies and inform the commissioning and/or decommissioning of services that impact on public health outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our hybrid working arrangement allows for flexibility in work arrangements while maintaining productivity.
