Public Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Specialist to join our team at North Northamptonshire Council. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, with experience in developing and implementing evidence-based projects that improve health outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work strategically within Health Protection, shaping innovative ways of working and framing the value of public health within the council. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of NHS and local authority policy, statutory duties, and responsibilities.
About You- A degree or postgraduate qualification relevant to Public Health, such as a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or equivalent qualifications.
- Postgraduate degree (masters level) OR significant experience in a related post, e.g., in a local authority, NHS, or voluntary sector.
The estimated salary for this role is £**42,000-£50,000 per annum**, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, generous leave entitlement, and hybrid working arrangements.
