Company Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Forest Care Selection, a unique collection of care services based in Godalming, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial management to take on a key role in the financial operations of our company.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for entering purchase invoices, reconciling statements, maintaining the purchase ledger, undertaking credit control, liaising with families and funders, overseeing accounts receivable, and maintaining spreadsheets and general administration. They will work closely with the Payroll Assistant and assist the Finance Controller in managing the financial aspects of our care services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enter purchase invoices into the accounting system
- Reconcile statements and maintain accurate records
- Oversee credit control and ensure timely payment from clients
- Liaise with families and funders to resolve any financial issues
- Maintain spreadsheets and perform general administration tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AAT qualification to level 4
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including SharePoint and Xero accounts
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to new processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
