Job Description: Administrative Officer - Accounts

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Administrative Officer - Accounts in Godalming. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Accounts team, ensuring the smooth operation of office activities and delivering excellent customer service.

About the Role:

  • Process Sales Ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Generate WIP (Work in Progress) reports for review by senior management
  • Post Sales Ledger receipts in a timely manner
  • Prepare Aged Debtor Statements and Letters to ensure prompt payment from customers
  • Coding and entering Purchase Ledger invoices into our accounting system
  • Generate billable time reports to track employee hours worked
  • Issue credit notes as necessary to rectify errors or discrepancies
  • Filing and scanning documents in a secure and organised manner
  • Manage supplier payment runs and ad hoc payments to ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as required by senior management
