About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Parcliffe Medical Centre. As a Salaried GP, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, safe care to patients, with a focus on clinical continuity and ongoing casemanagement.
  • Conduct mixed-media sessions, including face-to-face, telephone, video, and online consultations, to meet the needs of patients.
  • Manage pathology results, medication requests, and clinical administration, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and duties, working collaboratively with other GP colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide guidance and support to other members of the Practice team, including Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, and Physician Associates.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and audit work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Manage and raise safeguarding concerns, working closely with the Safeguarding Lead to ensure the well-being of patients.
  • Support the training of medical students and observational work placements, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the Partnership to achieve the strategic aims of the Practice, making recommendations to enhance services and improve quality of care.

Parcliffe Medical Centre is a forward-thinking Practice led by our Partnership of 5 GPs. We are committed to providing safe and effective care to our patient population, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Our Practice is located in purpose-built premises inside St Annes Health Centre, with a patient population of around 12,100 patients.
