About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Technical Lead to join our growing team at Aviva. As a key member of our development community, you will provide technical expertise and delivery capability across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team on data engineering best practices and methodologies.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Pyspark and SQL, with experience in orchestration tools such as Airflow and Tivoli.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data engineering standards are maintained and solutions are delivered to time and budgetary targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and patterns, and explore new solutions to drive business success.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary between £60,000 - £65,000, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • A bonus opportunity of up to 10% of annual salary, based on performance and company results.
