Job Description

Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner CAP

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our team at 5 Star Recruitment. As a key member of our social work team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage complex child and family cases, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective social work plans, working closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders, promoting best practice in social work.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with current legislation and best practice.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's strategic plan.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Significant experience in child and family social work, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.

Rate of Pay:

The rate of pay for this position is as follows:

  • Regular Pay: £26.62 per hour
  • Saturdays: £30.61 per hour
  • Sundays: £34.61 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: £53.24 per hour
  • Overtime: £31.94 per hour
  • Waking Night (Weekday): £39.08 per hour
  • Sleep In: £71.87 per hour

Remote Work:

This position does not involve remote work.
