Exhibits and Museum Team Leader

Join The Newt in Somerset as our Exhibits and Museum Team Leader, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of our exhibitions. With a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, you will lead a team of 25 hosts across three exhibits, scheduling, training, and developing their skills to provide outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Visitor Attraction Exhibitions Manager to schedule hosts and ensure adequate staffing levels across exhibits.
- Support the ongoing training and development of VA Exhibit Hosts, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Audit and order operating supplies in a timely manner, ensuring seamless exhibit operations.
- Develop a strong technical knowledge of exhibits, their operation, and troubleshooting techniques to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of exhibits across the Visitor Attraction, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
- Build relationships with colleagues in other departments, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Assist in the further development of improved operating procedures within exhibits, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development of H&S and Emergency procedures across the VA department, prioritizing guest and staff safety.
