Auditor (Interim) for North London Authority

Interim Audit Position:
CPR is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to join their team in North London. This interim role will support the delivery of the authority's annual audit plan and provide an opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will conduct risk-based internal audits, produce high-quality reports, and provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. They will work closely with the existing Internal Audit team to deliver audits and develop recommendations for enhancements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional qualification (CCAB, CMIIA, or AAT) or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Prior experience in local government or the wider public sector
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
Estimated Daily Rate:
We estimate that the daily rate for this role will be around £450 (umbrella), based on industry standards and location.
