Job Summary:

Cobb & Jones Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing strategic commercial influence to non-finance roles and supporting the Regional Head of Sales in providing regional finance support to a large group of sales colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiative Modelling and Analysis: Work with the Strategy team to develop initiative modelling, eligibility, targets, and subsequent analysis on ROI and benefits derived.
  • Regular Meetings and Reporting: Attend regular meetings with the Sales and Finance teams, including monthly P&L reviews and quarterly finance performance reviews.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Leverage analysis into deliverable guidance and recommendations to Sales and Finance managers and directors.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and flash management, as well as ownership of Workday updates.
  • Deputy Role: Act as deputy for the Senior Finance Business Partner as required.
  • Team Support: Support the rest of the team with daily activities, developing new ways of working or simplifying current reporting.
  • Model Development: Develop models to provide insight on key sales and margin information across all Commercial teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure new business proposals are financially viable and act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders for finance-related queries.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Produce reports and presentations as required to drive business results.
  • Ambassador Role: Act as an ambassador for finance, promoting cross-functional collaboration and understanding.

Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA, or ACA certification who can drive performance through insight. The ideal candidate will have strong business partnering skills across all levels, with the confidence and ability to understand trends and results. A high level of competency in financial analysis and modelling is essential.
